Mark Wyatt

The chance to quietly observe another person triggers an inevitable introspection, whether conscious or unintentional, whether embraced or spurned. The point to photographing, or painting, or writing about anything, is to contemplate it, to become aware, to become part of it. And there’s no avoiding the effect – when you see an image of sorrow, you feel sorrow; when you see joy, you feel joy.
Street photography succeeds by feeding this inborn human trait.
